CHOSEN
provides a 48 bed shelter and meals to approximately 750 needy people
annually. Our cost is half the price of the national average for
emergency shelters. This is due to our large volunteer network through
area churches.
Agencies that provide on site services to our clients include Health and
Human Services (food applications), Transitional Living (Mental Health
care), Adult Protective Services, MRDD, and Veterans Administration.
Our
guests may be reached during regular business hours to help with job
placement and employment opportunities. We also provide transportation
to clients for work and medical related appointments.
